Reinvent by Yalım Ardıç

"Baskının çeşitliliği benim için fotogramla çoğalır. Onun yalnızca bir pratik olmaktan çıkıp nihai sonuca dönüşmesi ise 2016 yılına dayanır. Fotoğrafın ortaya koyduğu etkileşimli dünyanın aksine fotogram, yalnızlık ile şekilleniyor. Karanlık odada kendimle kalmanın ve kendimle karşılaşmanın ortaya çıkardığı bir üretim biçimi. Buna rağmen fotogram hala, rastlantısallığın ve deneyselliğin getirdiği bir zenginliği barındırıyor. Ben bu zenginliği içe dönüş yolculuğuna benzetiyorum.

2019’da Reinvent ile bütün bu süreç bir anlatı haline geldi. Her bir sayfası bağımsız olarak incelenebilen Reinvent, bakana yeni biçimler keşfetme olanağı tanıyarak izleyiciyi yaşadığım yeniden keşif sürecine dahil etmeyi hedefliyor." (Yalım Ardıç)

"For me, the diversity of print multiplies with the photogram. Its transformation from a mere practice to a final result dates back to 2016. Unlike the interactive world of photography, the photogram is shaped by solitude. It is a form of production that emerges from staying with myself in the dark room and encountering myself. Despite this, the photogram still harbors a richness brought about by randomness and experimentation. I liken this richness to an introspective journey.

In 2019, with Reinvent, this whole process became a narrative. Reinvent, each page of which can be analyzed independently, aims to include the viewer in the process of rediscovery I am going through by allowing the viewer to discover new forms." (Yalım Ardıç)
