Consisting of two interconnected books, Part of an Archipelago is an elliptical and mysterious account of a short visit to a Mediterranean island. Through the use of different narrative strategies and intertextual references, the work combines and plays with different layers of interpretation while blurring the lines between personal experience, memory and imagination.
