In Francesco Dondina's Sedicesimo, type become furniture: the letters of the alphabet take on new functions and form imaginary decorations and settings, to be read in alphabetical order.

 

Francesco Dondina was born in 1961 in Milan, where he lives and works. Since 1986 he alternates his jobs as graphic designer and father of Ginevra and Olivia. He worked for many firms in the field of fashion, design and printing. He mainly deals in brand identity and publishing graphics. His most recent project has been made for the MoMA of New York. He is Professor of Visual Communication at the Design Faculty of the Politecnico, Milan.
