I Want to Always Be with You Limited Special Edition Box

Accompanying the installation of the same title at Istanbul Modern, this Special Edition Box transforms the book into a tactile, intimate installation.

Housed in a custom-made wooden box, the edition brings together three integral components:

– the photobook
– 1 or 2 archival pigment print
– A set of embroidered pillowcases bearing the title of the work, embroidered in glow-in-the-dark thread.

Each element is conceived not as a supplement, but as part of a single sculptural gesture.

Encased in wood, the edition evokes a reliquary, a container for memory, for sleep, for what remains.

It does not monumentalize loss; it holds it quietly.

This Special Edition is produced in a limited number of copies.
Each box is numbered and signed by the artist.

A work about holding on and letting go —
not by overcoming death,

The Special Edition exists in two distinct forms:

Form I: Edition of 20
– Includes one archival pigment print
– Housed in the standard custom-made wooden box
– Numbered and signed

Form II: Edition of 10
– Includes two archival pigment prints
– Housed in an enhanced wooden box featuring a custom-built wooden elevator mechanism that lifts the contents upward when opened
– Numbered and signed

This version is conceived as a more elaborate sculptural object.
