Evan had just got a brand new collection of pastel crayons... but one of them snapped right down the middle. Then the others started breaking one by one; some were crushed, some were blown away by the wind, and some disappeared. So how was Evan going to paint without green, purple, and black crayons? Evan wanted to throw everything away, but he didn't; he started doodling. And what do you know? Where blue and yellow met, it turned green. When blue and red mixed well, the resulting purple color was perfect for drawing monsters. In the end, all he had left were red, yellow, and blue crayon scraps. But Evan had discovered that he could create something even with just a few pastel crayons. All he needed was imagination.
