Minor Vibrations on Earth Yeryüzünde Minör Titreşimler by Burçak Bingöl
Burçak Bingöl’ün 2020’den bu yana üzerine çalıştığı Yeryüzünde Minör Titreşimler projesinin çeşitli evrelerini kapsayan sanatçı kitabı yayımlandı. Kitap, sanatçının 2022’de Tate St Ives’da gerçekleşen aynı isimli kişisel sergisiyle birlikte, öncesinde St Ives’daki misafir sanatçı programı ve Galata’daki atölyesinde gelişen hazırlık ve üretim sürecini içeriyor, ayrıca projenin 2023’te Ka Ankara ve Birleşik Krallık Büyükelçiliği’nde ve Ekim 2024’te Galeri Nev İstanbul’da gerçekleşen sergilerini derliyor. Tasarımını Dilara Sezgin’in üstlendiği kitapta, Özgür Ceren Can’ın projeye eşlik eden metninin yanısıra, Büyükelçi Jill Morris CMG, Tate St Ives Direktörü Anne Barlow, Tate Direktörü Maria Balshaw, British Council Türkiye Direktörü Gill Caldicott ve yazar Süreyyya Evren’den özel alıntılar da yer alıyor.

An artist book covering the various phases of Burçak Bingöl’s Minor Vibrations on Earth project, which she has been working on since 2020, has been published. The book explores the artist’s solo exhibition of the same name at Tate St. Ives in 2022, the preparations and production processes that developed during her prior residency program in St. Ives and her studio in Galata. It also compiles the project’s exhibitions at Ka Ankara and the British Embassy in 2023, and at Galeri Nev Istanbul in October 2024. Designed by Dilara Sezgin, the book includes an accompanying text by Özgür Ceren Can, as well as special excerpts from Ambassador Jill Morris CMG, Tate St. Ives Director Anne Barlow, Tate Director Maria Balshaw, British Council Turkey Director Gill Caldicott, and author Süreyyya Evren.
