"Neo Ottoman – New Turkey" is about the nationalist/Islamic conservative wave that has visibly increased over the last two decades. It traces the symbolism created through Ottoman references, flags, sultan's signatures, and architecture in everything from shop names to fashion, accessories to television series. It traces the struggle between "Old" and "New" Turkeys waged through these symbols in the public sphere.
