Petal Bones
Petal Bones is a self-published zine containing 28 photographs and one poem, created in Tokyo in 2025.
The photographs in this zine focus on street flowers already in decay, flowers often ignored, treated as trash, or quickly discarded. Having lost what is usually considered “beautiful,” they continue to exist quietly within the city landscape.
This publication reflects on noticing what is often overlooked, and on the fragile life that remains even after something has wilted.
